Job Overview
We are seeking a Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records, including managing accounts payable/receivable, processing payroll, and reconciling bank statements. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and have experience with bookkeeping software.
As our bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining an accurate record of all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and supporting various accounting and administrative functions.
Responsibilities
- Recording day-to-day financial transactions Reconciling bank and credit card accounts.
- Generating financial statements and reports assisting in budget and financial planning
- Maintaining accurate records of accounts receivable and accounts payable Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Preparing and submitting necessary tax filings Other administrative duties
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets
The ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
- Proven work experience as a bookkeeper or similar role
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
