Job Overview

As an E-Commerce Inventory Manager & Data Analyst, you'll oversee product inventory across various online platforms, analyze sales data, and identify trends. You'll ensure stock levels are optimal while leveraging data insights to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Clearly identify and define the variables involved in estimating future sales.
• Be able to easily use mid-level Excel functions to combine reports and get some answers from them (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, index/match).
• Have good number sense, being able to know when the right times are for estimation vs. exact values. Strong mental math skills.
• Experience with international shipping (air freight, sea freight, express).
• Scheduling shipments
• Price checking different carriers
• HS Codes, HTS Codes
• Understand general timelines involved and who to reach out to if unclear.
• Estimate the volume/dimensions of pallets and cartons based on the dimensions and weight of the cartons.
• Detailed understanding of Amazon LTL process and rules/requirements/shipment setup.
• Detailed understanding of Amazon small parcel rules/requirements/shipment setup.
• Experience with EU/UK VAT documentation.
• Computer savvy enough to know how to evaluate a UI, find how to download reports in Excel and combine them into the same workbook.
• Project management software such as Asana or ClickUp.
   

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets

The ideal candidate should have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
• Experience with some kind of professional reporting platform like Tableau or Microsoft BI tools
• Experience with how data is structured in databases, understanding of how data interrelates through primary/foreign keys
• Experience writing SQL queries
• Experience creating failure checks
• Excellent English (written & verbal) communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible with the tasks that will be assigned, especially on the client's need
• Must be willing to work onsite, on the on the graveyard shift and holidays.
