Job Overview
Order Management Specialist to join our fulfillment team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the order processing cycle from receipt through shipment, ensuring that all customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will play a critical role in maintaining excellent customer satisfaction while collaborating with various internal departments.
Responsibilities
Recruiter - Client Based:
- Receive, review, and process customer orders in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate entry of orders into the order management system.
- Verify product availability and coordinate with inventory management regarding stock levels.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, changes, and shipping information.
- Resolve any customer inquiries, complaints, or discrepancies related to orders or fulfillment.
- Liaise with the warehouse and logistics teams to prioritize and schedule order shipments.
- Coordinate with the sales and customer service departments to ensure customer needs are satisfied.
- Monitor inventory levels and generate reports to identify stock shortages and overages.
- Assist with the forecasting of product demand to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency within the order fulfillment process.
- Implement best practices to enhance the customer experience and streamline operations.
- Maintain accurate records of all orders, shipments, and returns.
- Generate regular reports on order status, fulfillment metrics, and inventory levels for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding order processing and fulfillment.
- Contribute to maintaining a high standard of quality and accuracy in all order-related tasks.
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets
The ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in order management, fulfillment, or a similar role.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving and resolution.
- Proficiency in order management systems (e.g., ERP software) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
