Job Overview
We are hiring a Purchasing Clerk to manage the purchasing process, including sourcing suppliers, processing orders, and maintaining inventory levels. You will work closely with vendors and the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the sourcing and purchasing of dietary supplement ingredients and packaging materials.
- Ensure continuous ingredient supply to maintain consistent production schedules.
- Collaborate closely with the production, quality assurance teams and global suppliers.
- Address and solve vendor issues, ensuring optimal quality and pricing.
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets
- Must be fluent in English and have a high school diploma; higher education is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in a purchasing role, preferably in the dietary supplement or related industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and understanding of regulatory requirements for dietary supplements.
